What is Express Entry?
Express Entry is a points-based immigration system used by Canada to manage applications for permanent residency. It evaluates candidates based on factors such as age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and adaptability. High-scoring candidates receive Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residency. The system includes the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and Canadian Experience Class (CEC). Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) can also nominate candidates in Express Entry. The process aims to expedite application processing and attract skilled workers to contribute to Canada’s economy.
